This post is going to end up being a little bit of everything, I think. I don't actually have anything in particular that I want to talk about.

I just did a "100 Things" list and it's over to the right. Just click on the link that says "100 Things List"....I guess that was kind of self explanitory. I thought I was being clever making my "50 Random Things" post, but then I read a few blogs and discovered that the "100 Things" is pretty common and almost everyone has already done one. That's me....Miss Behind-the-times.

I'm so in love with Harris Teeter right now. Today was grocery-shoppin'-day, which is normally not exacty a fun day. It's so hot right now, I have to be careful not to put anything that has to be refrigerated in my cart until last. Then I have to worry about the drive home and what I have to pull out of the car first, blah blah blah. Anyway, I was in line at H.T. and the 2 checkout people that I usually go to were talking to each other when one said to the other,

"You know who she looks like?"

I thought Uh oh...here we go... Please don't say some hideously ugly chick... *fingers crossed*

Then the best thing happened...

She said "She looks like Renee Zellweger in Jerry Maguire"

Then, an even better thing happened...the other cashier said, "Yeah, but prettier"

The female cashier said, "You mean her, right?" pointing at me.

The male cashier said, "Yeah."

The first thing I thought was At least they didn't say "She looks like Renee Zellweger from Bridget Jones" That would have been bad.

Well, we can now say that my self esteem level is no longer in the negatives....and that I'll shop at Harris Teeter for life!!!

Hmmm....something else to talk about.....

Things have been kind of slow lately....

Been working on the Family Cookbook....I've added all the recipes I've gotten and have formatted them several different ways. Now if I could only get that digital camera so I could add some great pictures *hint hint hint* I think I've gotten around 40-50 recipes all typed out.

Friday is my "2nd Birthday" and I'm hoping I can convince Computer Guy to take me out for dinner. It pretty much takes an act of God to get him to go out for something other than pizza or fast food these days. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I mean, who wouldn't want to take a "prettier Renee Zellweger" out to dinner? *LOL* Wish me luck!
