Ultimate Blog Party Post - Down to the Wire Much?

So, hi. Welcome to my blog!

It's not about anything specific, just whatever happens to fall out of my head and makes it's way onto the keyboard. Pretty random stuff.

I'm pretty much drawing a blank on the interesting stuff I was going to post at the moment. But how's this...sick. I'm sick. Very sick. Drowning in snot. Blargh.

I do this thing called "Things on the Road Thursday" which sounds kinda gross, but really isn't. I'm not talking "Things Squished on the Road", but just things. Anything that I happen to see and find interesting. I missed this Thursday, but will definitely be back with "TRT" next Thursday.

I have two kitties, one huge dog, and a hubby.

I live in North Carolina. I think that this is the best place to live. I love my state! :)

I'm in the process of starting my own gourmet dog treat business (which coincidentally is what I have up as a prize!) called Canine Confections. I've posted many a picture of different treats on here, so if ya want just poke around in the ol' archives.

I'll be updating this (hopefully) all day as I think of more interesting things, but I wanted to get this up, so I could sign Mr Linky (which I still don't really understand, but I'm not exactly a computer genious like The Hubs).

Welcome to the party, and I hope you feel better! I love the name of your business...it's better than the one I saw recently. My sis-in-law and I saw a bakery called "My Best Friend's Bakery" and we started drooling, thinking of the goodies inside...it was a doggie bakery...we were NOT happy campers!!

Random is awesome...it's how I write too! lol!! I think your "Things on the Road" Thursday is a great idea...I have been trying to take note of the different things around me..you know the things we miss because we're too busy. And Canine Confections...neat! I'm sure my little Milo (mini dachshund) would dig these! lol!!

I didn't know if you'd be back to check my page, so I thought I'd reply to your comment on my blog by commenting on yours... ;)

You said you were so scared of the marketing aspect that you sometimes put off working on your novel. I'm sure you were being somewhat facetious, but if I could encourage you in any way I'd say that if God has put something on your heart to write about -- you've just got to do it.

Marketing gives me the willies. I hate, hate, hate it. But God is GOOD and He provides so many opportunities if you will just step forward in faith.

So in closing :p -- finish your book, THEN you can worry about marketing! Maybe by the time you're finished you can write me and I'll be an old hat at marketing. (ha ha ha ha)
