Veggie...Yay or 'Neigh'?

I have been tossing around the idea of not eating meat for awhile. I finally made up my mind day before yesterday to give it a shot.

So far, I'm doing pretty good. No meat eaten in the last....hmm...36 hours? I took a trip to the grocery store for peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti o's (no meatballs) and mac & cheese. Just so I'll have something to snack on that doesn't taste like cardboard when I have to fix Computer Guy his steak!

Since he's at the dentist right now, I don't think he'll be eating much steak tonight though!

I'm just a little worried that I'll get a pepperoni craving and not be able to help myself! Hopefully I'll be able to stick with it! I love salads, and pastas, and breads.....veggies though....I'm not so sure about. I could probably count on one hand the number of vegetables that I like. Let's see...there's green beans, and corn....and....uh.....hmm....well, I think I'll have to give that a little more thought. Oh yeah! Lettuce and cucumbers....like those too. Ok, that makes 4...I'm feeling a little better about that now. I knew there had to be more than 2 vegetables I like. I just don't want to end up feeling like I'm eating grass everyday! (hence the 'neigh')

On another note, I pulled weeds for about 2 hours yesterday! I can barely move my legs! AHHH!!! Of course, that didn't hit until this morning when I tried to get out of bed and ended up on the floor. There should not have been 2 hours worth of weeds in ONE flower bed! Jeeze! Poor neglected little flower bed! It looked like a mini rainforest! Fortunately, most of them came up easily, but the clover...ahh...the clover....couldn't I just set that on fire? SUCH a pain! Looks much better now. Just in need of some actual plants!

So how are the meatless meals going? (I won't tell you're sneaking weenies for breakfast). I rather like not eating meats except occasionally-like you, bread, pasta, fruits, and veggies are perfect-o!

well...I've made a huge salad and mac & cheese. So I guess you could say they're going pretty well. And the cats have completely lost interest when I eat anything. Well, except Winston, but he eats rubber bands...let's hope it doesn't come to that!
